How OddsSnipe handles your personal data.

1. Who is responsible

the operator of OddsSnipe is the controller of your personal data for the OddsSnipe service. Contact: the contact address shown on the site.

2. What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a password (stored by our login provider in hashed form, never in plain text).
• Plan data: which plan you have and when it ends, plus a Stripe customer reference.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number.
• Technical data: basic request logs (such as IP address and time) kept by our hosting provider for security and to keep the service running.
• Your settings and bet log: filters and display settings are saved in your own browser. Any bets you log are saved to your account so they follow you across devices.
• Referral data: if you arrive through an affiliate link, we keep the referral code in your browser for up to 30 days and link it to your account if you sign up, so the affiliate can be credited when you pay.

3. Why we use it

• To provide the service: log you in, apply your plan, take payment (contract).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests).
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.
• To reply when you contact us.

We may analyse bet logs in anonymised, combined form (never showing individual members) to understand which markets and bookmakers are used and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the service for us: Supabase (login and account records), Stripe (payments), and Render (hosting). They process data under their own terms and security standards, and some may process it outside your country.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use only what the site needs to work: your login session, your saved settings and, if you used an affiliate link, a referral code, stored in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. Payment and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to or restrict some uses. Email the contact address shown on the site. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

8. Age

OddsSnipe is for adults only (18 or over). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the bottom shows the latest version.
